It would by hypocritical of me to post clips of other people’s mistakes while omitting mine, so here you go. I was in a hurry, made a stupid decision to drive like an asshole, it didn’t work, and I’m lucky I didn’t get in an accident. I usually drive fairly patiently, and this is a good reminder to myself as to why.

to be an asshole, you have to commit. meaning earlier, more liberal application of the loud pedal would have made that work.

Hey it happens and it’s happened to me before trying to pass a left lane slow poke. I’m also glad you posted this, I just installed my dashcam and was wondering if mine was set at a good angle. I can see just a little bit of my hood in the camera but mine is set higher because I have it right behind the rear view mirror.

yep. I find myself making the EXACT same mistake if i try something in our cars (as i’m used to the DRASTICALLY faster and FAR skinnier motorcycles) and often realize about 1/4 of the way that i really dont have the power or the space to make it.

then i try to adjust, and when i get back on the bike, i pass someone like a friggen bat out of hell like 1/2 before the lane ends LOL

I don't know that I'd call that being an asshole. I'd call it aggressive, but if you had had the space to do it and had committed, the only damage is to their pride. I could live with that. They were asking for it by dragging their ass.
